Qualifications:Minimum of 15 year(s) of experience in developing and facilitating training programs and content. OR BA/BS Degree in Agricultural Economics, Agribusiness, Agronomy, or other agricultural related disciplines, Instructional Design, Psychology, Public Administration, Human Resources, Organization Development, Industrial Organizational-Psychology, or other closely related fields. - Ability to create innovating and engaging training materials and assist with administering the training to a workforce that varies in age, experience, and work disciplines. Strong presentation and communication skills.
- Experience required with Windows, MS Word, MS Excel, Power Point
- Adobe, Zoom, Microsoft Teams
Duties:The primary responsibility of the incumbent is to assist in designing, developing, delivering, and evaluating instructor-led and e-learning training programs for USDA-NASS?s staff that supports the agency's mission for the purpose of creating and sustaining a high-performing organization.

NOTE: This position has the option to work remote.
- Assist with developing and delivering quality training content (aides, guides, presentations, etc.) for NASS staff and enumerator staff to prepare them for data collection on various agriculture based surveys. Training may be virtual or in-person. 50%
- Assess agency training needs. This includes working with managers, employees, and other training professionals to ensure that training programs are aligned with organizational needs. 30%
- Conduct evaluations after the training for continuous improvement. This involves collecting data on learner outcomes and making adjustments to the programs as needed. 10%
- Maintain training records. This includes tracking attendance, assessments, and other data related to training programs. 10%
Other:- Travel Requirements: May need to travel to our training facility in St. Louis, MO, to conduct in person training.
- Overnight travel: possibly once per quarter
- Air travel anticipated: possibly once per quarter
- Remote work arrangements are available for this position.
