Qualifications:

Minimum of 5 year(s) of experience in Land use and multiple use resource management planning OR BA/BS Degree in Natural resources field(s) including recreation, biology, and natural resources OR Previously completed training in National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA)

  • Experience being a project manager, lead or member of an interdisciplinary team working on plan analysis process, principles, and practices: Managing NEPA projects; reviewing planning & NEPA documents to ensure they read smoothly and correctly
  • Experience required with Windows, MS Word, MS Excel
  • MS SharePoint; MS Teams; MS PowerPoint
Duties:

The incumbent will make contributions to NEPA documents, FOIA documentation, and flexible grazing permits Enrollee will follow all appropriate document management and data protection standards as required by BLM policy and statute.

  • Review CRVF0 resource team NEPA documents to ensure they are complete    50%
  • Coordinate field office responses to CRVF0 resource team F0IA requests   5%
  • Support the CRVF0 range staff in developing flexible grazing permits   25%
  • Support other CRVF0 resource team planning efforts as needed   10%
  • Mentor new CRVF0 Planning and Environmental Coordinator when position is filled   10%

  • Physical requirements: Ability to meet with staff at the office and via Teams. Ability to use a BLM computer to complete tasks.
