Qualifications:Minimum of 15 year(s) of experience OR BA/BS Degree in Agriculture, natural resources, agronomy or related field of study. - Previous ESA consultation work.
- Experience required with Windows
Duties:Consolidates information on ESA listed species, they uses this information into a Biological Assessment. Will work with the regulatory agencies to provide information needed within a Biological Opinion. - Write biological assessments for a number of species. 55%
- Review work done by specialist to be included within Biological Assessments. 25%
- Work with the rest of the team (on-line meetings) to describe strength and weaknesses of existing ESA as it related to their taxonomic specialty. 15%
- Work with Forest Service leadership and Regulatory Agencies to address concerns related to failure to consult on legacy forest plans. 5%
Other:- Physical requirements: Ability to work at desk for extended periods of time.
