For over 25 years, National Experienced Workforce Solutions (NEW Solutions) has specialized in connecting experienced workers (ages 55+) with full-time and part-time job opportunities that support the critical missions of Federal Agencies across the United States.

NEW Solutions connects experienced workers (ages 55+) with the Natural Resources Conservation Services (NRCS). These are experienced professionals who provide technical and professional assistance to the Department of Agriculture for the Agriculture Conservation Experienced Services (ACES) Program.

Qualifications:

Minimum of 20 year(s) of experience in any, or combined, areas such as budgeting, accounting, analysis and reporting related to the work in agriculture, natural resources, or a related field. Experience with NRCS Watershed Programs, Expert analysis of NRCS program performance. OR BA/BS Degree in Economics, finance, accounting,

Duties:

Assist program managers with the development of responses associated with data from the official agency's financial systems, and the development of support data.

  • Assist program managers with the development of responses to data calls, developing reports and analyses associated with data from the official agency financial systems. Assist other management staff with the development of support data. Provide analytic support as needed.   70%
  • Assist the Branch in identifying training needs related to program analysis, budgeting, and forecasting. Provide constructive feedback and identify any areas for improvement or shortfalls in both the financial and non-financial systems   20%
  • Other tasks as assigned related to the Branch program implementation.   10%
