Qualifications:Minimum of 5 year(s) of experience in field data collection and as collateral duty EMS coordinator. OR BA/BS Degree in No specific undergraduate degree required. - Experience with the USDA-ARS EMS system and rangeland plant identification.
- Experience required with Windows, MS Word, MS Excel
Duties:Assist with functions related to the USDA ARS Environmental Management System and provides field research support for the agrivoltaics project at the USDA ARS Northern Great Plains Research Laboratory.
Working in an outdoor environment and be able to walk on a recently planted grassland to count grass seedlings.

*This position will be open until filled. - Assist the Environmental Management System (EMS) Coordinator with tracking of EMS activities, coordination, and report writing. 50%
- Collects field data in the agrivoltaics experiment and keeps accurate and detailed records of methods, data, and supporting documentation. 50%
Other:- USDA issues yearly mandatory trainings and trainings for using specific types of equipment. Safety training will be provided by safety staff on-site.
- Training will be provided as necessary.
